Product Description
Addison-Wesley is proud to celebrate the Tenth Edition of Elementary Statistics. This text is highly regarded because of its engaging and understandable introduction to statistics. Theauthor's commitment to providing student-friendly guidance through the material and giving students opportunities to apply their newly learned skills in a real-world context has made Elementary Statistics the #1 best-seller in the market. Students learning from Elementary Statistics should have completed an elementary algebra course. Although formulas and formal procedures can be found throughout the text, the emphasis is on development of statistical literacy and critical thinking.

Fast and easy October 11, 2008 I was sent the wrong book but the problem was cleared right away and I received the correct book in less then a week. Very helpful and great communication. The product was in great condition, just as it was described. Overall great experience
Great price, but be sure you are getting what you need October 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was a LOT cheaper through Amazon than at my school's bookstore, but I had to buy an access code separately through the MyMathLab site.
This isn't clear when you buy, but if Lab access is required by your college, you will not get the code you need unless you buy at the school bookstore. Fortunately, you can buy the book through Amazon -- for about $50 cheaper than at my school -- and then only pay $25 for the access code on line.
Just be sure you know what you need. Not all classes that come with My--Lab internet segments require that you buy a code, but you can always buy one later.
By the way, MyMathLab is amazing. It's making this Statistics class a piece of cake!

I am amazed and very pleased at the speed in which I received my order and in the perfect condition it was in. I will, from now on, use Amazon for my next purchases.

good book September 4, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The book was in good condition but the desk that came with book didn't work
Didn't get what I expected. September 4, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this book for $92.00 brand new expecting for it to come intact and in good condition. First off, this book doesn't come with the code for mymathlab, which means it was used. And it has a huge gash at the back of the book. Not what I expected at all. Very unsatisfied!
